Anna
Youth and Social Media Co-ordinator
After graduating with a degree in fashion design, Anna moved to Langholm to work for Rose’s Wardobe. She now splits her time between sewing bespoke dresses there, and sharing her skills with others at Creation Mill. In her spare time, Anna likes to crochet, machine knit and needle punch.

Tessa
Youth Work Assistant
Tessa has always been involved in Creation Mill, as an avid weaver and general crafter. In 2023, she officially joined the team as our Youth Work assistant, helping to run school workshops, after school and holiday clubs.

Sue
Scrap Store Volunteer
Sue volunteers at Creation Mill, welcoming people to drop-in sessions and looking after the scrap store. She loves making people laugh, making everyone a cup of tea and having a go at any and every craft.

Eileen
Scrap Store Volunteer
Eileen volunteers for Creation Mill, giving sewing and craft advice at our social sessions and looking after the Scrap Store. She always has a different project on the go, from slow stitching to card making. Eileen also hosts some of our Reuse, Recycle, Remake workshops, putting her sewing skills to good use.

Emma
Founder and Creative Director
A co-founder of vintage inspired company based in Langholm, Rose’s Wardrobe, Emma has 8 years experience in fashion and print design. She has a keen interest in textile history, loves to collect vintage fabrics and haberdashery and is currently learning to machine knit.

Leanne
Founder
With 9 years experience in the fashion industry, Leanne is also co-founder of Rose’s Wardrobe, where she focuses on pattern cutting and finances. Leanne watches too many tailoring videos and is a woven textiles geek.

Judith
Director
Judith is recently retired after working for the Langholm Initiative on the Textile Eskdale project, which is what Creation Mill CIC was born from. We are so pleased to have her on board with her varied experience and passion for the textile industry.

Gillian
Director
Gillian is a textile maker based in Langholm, Part time Teacher and a graduate of the ReTweed 12 week programme. Gillian also works with Health in Mind in Galashiels, a mental health charity.

Steph
Director
Steph is a Mental Health Improvement Specialist with Borders Council and has worked with the Textiles Eskdale project with Judith, delivering a ‘Making Space’ workshop which was a weekly textile craft group. She is pictured paddle boarding in her happy place

Al
Director
Our latest Board member is Al Green. Al has a wide experience is the Textile Industry, most recently being a freelance Graphic and Apparel designer for some leading High Street brands. Al recently moved near Langholm and wanted to get involved in a community project and we are delighted to have him.
